We are seeking an experienced Python Developer to join our Tango Project team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management, market data analysis, and software development. This role requires a deep understanding of various data types and the ability to work with complex data sets to generate meaningful insights and reports.
Key Responsibilities:-
Data Analysis and Interpretation:
- Analyze and interpret market data, including securities, financials, spreads, yield curves, and news.
- Utilize tools like AC Analytics and BI tools (Excel, Google Sheets) for data manipulation and calculations.
- Ensure accurate and reliable data within the system through data cleansing, data migration, and data integration.

Report Generation:
- Create and generate meaningful reports.
- Provide insights and analysis on curve data.

Software Development:
- Develop and maintain scripts using Unix shell and Python.
- Collaborate with the team to design and implement new features and functionalities.

Data Management:
- Manage and maintain database systems (e.g., SQL).
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across various platforms.

Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python, API, Django OR Flask.
- Strong understanding of data types and market data.
- Experience with data management, including data cleansing, migration, and integration.
- Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL).
- Basic knowledge of data visualization tools (optional, but a plus).

Analytical Skills:
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets.
- Strong data manipulation and calculation skills using BI tools.

Communication Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to generate clear and concise reports.
- Experience with AC Analytics.
- Familiarity with financial markets and instruments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Compensation: - $90,000 to $140,000 /- and this position are also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans. Application will be accepted till 03/22/2025
