| Customer Premise Equipments/Wireline Networks, Network Systems Solution Architecture and Presales | ||||
| The role is help build proposals & to represent Engineering solutions in front of customers, drive innovative solutions/PoCs and to present to customers | ||||
| The main objectives of the role are: to convince customer that our solution is suitable for them, to ensure the right technical defence is presented, to ensure new PoCs are available in periodicity, be a Single point of Technical Contact for multiple customers from engineering teams, help delivery teams in solving complex challenges & drive new ideas to their customers | ||||
| Role responsibilities (5-8 day to day responsibilities) | ||||
| State the primary job duties and responsibilities. This will give the applicant an idea of what they will be measured against during performance evaluations, among other insights of the role | ||||
| Own and drive new RFIs / RFPs | ||||
| Estimate the size for RFIs/RFPs | ||||
| Understand customer focus areas and build PoCs / PoVs | ||||
| Present PoCs & PoVs to customers | ||||
| Contribute to & drive interviews of architects & key leads | ||||
| Provide a consultative view of solutions for customer challenges based on technology evolution | ||||
| Contribute to Industry forums like MWC, TMForum, WiFi Alliance, CableLabs etc | ||||
| Minimum required qualifications (5-8 bullet points on must haves) | ||||
| 18 Years of Experience in Cable Networks, CPEs | ||||
| Solid experience in Designing / Architecting Customer Premise Equipments / Wireline Network (Cable Network /IP etc ) and/or Network Systems (OSS/NMS) | ||||
| Experience in building solutions for Network/Device/Network Systems, Virtualization/Containerization of NFs | ||||
| Solid experience in large scale estimations & techniques to be adopted | ||||
| Ability to paint a macro level picture of solutions (across the domain/technology areas) based on customer challenges | ||||
| Education: Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science, E&C or similar streams. MBA is preferable | ||||
| Experience in contribution to Global forums like TMForum/MWC/WiFi Alliance/CableLabs is preferable | ||||
