- Location: Troy, MI
Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for “Java L2 Support Engineer @ Troy, MI” to join in our team of IT professionals in a permanent role. Responsibilities:
- Providing business and functional support.
- Incident investigation, diagnosis, and recovery within the defined Service Levels.
- Taking action on Service Request and Change requests.
- Accessing system logs, databases, and diagnostic tools, resolving more advanced or recurring issues.
- Production monitoring. Minor releases and patching, certificate management and minor bug fixes.
- Providing updates to user, as per client defined Incident, request, change procedure.
- Escalating Incidents, as required.
Must have Skills & Qualifications:
- L2 support experience.
- Should have prior experience supporting COTS products.
- Technical knowledge on Java and Webservices.
- Knowledge of banking products from FIS.
- Banking domain knowledge.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position depends on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
