The Role: Fulltime with Cognizant
· Role: Java L3 Support Engineer
· Location: Troy, MI
Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for “Java L3 Support Engineer @ Troy, MI” to join in our team of IT professionals in a permanent role. Responsibilities:
- New application functionality/Feature enhancements (capped by effort) for In-Scope custom applications
- In-Scope Application upgrades and project requests including vulnerability remediations (capped by effort in terms of hours annually and per month)
- Ongoing book of work prioritization for LOBs to account for enhancements and support
- Regulatory Compliance Services (Changes and upgrades)
- Technology consultation and support for project.
- Operational Change management and problem management
- Testing (Functional – unit level and smoke test)
- Deployment Support & Bug, Root Cause Analysis
- KPI tracking and metrics reporting
- Prioritized L3-level code support:
- Provide technical support for the tasks that are not resolved by Level 2 Support team and require in depth knowledge of the technology and application.
- Conduct Incident investigation, diagnosis, and recovery within the defined Service Levels.
- Provide updates to user, as required.
Must have Skills & Qualifications:
· Hands on exp in Java and related distributed technologies
· Good exp in L3 support and minor enhancements
· Good client management skills
· Banking domain knowledge
· Experience in working with FIS products.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position depends on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
