Java Lead/Architect (Onsite)
Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Lead or Architect with experience in Java 8, Core Java, and Microservices. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Leaders have a passion for high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Responsibilities:
- Must be familiar with distributed system architecture, must be able to understand enterprise architecture, must be good with application design & solution design.
- Associate should have strong hands-on development skills on Java 17 / 21.
- Must Have hands-on experience in Vertx, Spring Boot, Java, and REST API.
- Must be familiar with Maven, Gradle, CICD, Sonar, Unit Testing, Github.
- Very good analytical and debugging skills.
- Should be an independent performer with client coordination skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 12 yrs of relevant experience.
- Strong REST API Development skills.
- Core Java, Spring Core, Spring MVC, Microservices, and Java 8.
- Maven / Sonar / CICD / MUP / XLR / Splunk / GHA.
- Gihub / GHA / Splunk / SCM.
- Hystrix / Redis / Prometheus / Kafka.
Salary and compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $102,500K – $162,500K depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
