Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect with 12 to 16 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in AWS services Spring Boot and Java and API development. This role involves designing and implementing scalable solutions in a hybrid work model. The candidate will contribute to the company’s growth by leveraging their technical skills to deliver high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
· Lead the design and development of complex software solutions using Agile Methodologies.
· Oversee the implementation of AWS services including Fargate, EC2, Databases, Cloud, CLI, Lambda, and S3
· Provide technical expertise in Springboot Microservices Spring Boot Java 11 Core Java and Advanced Java.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components.
· Develop and maintain high-quality code that meets project requirements and industry standards.
· Ensure the scalability and reliability of software applications through effective architecture design.
· Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
· Mentor junior developers and guide them in best practices and coding standards.
· Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment.
· Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
· Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the development process.
· Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
· Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards in all software solutions.
Qualifications
· Possess a strong background in Agile Methodologies and AWS services.
· Demonstrate expertise in Springboot Microservices Spring Boot Java 11 Core Java and Advanced Java.
· Have experience in underwriting support rewrite quotes rewrite issuance and cancel processes.
· Nice to have experience in renewal issuance.
· Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Show ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
