Job Summary
We are seeking a Lead Developer with 6 to 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Container Management with Kubernetes MQ and Camunda. Experience in Asset and Wealth Management is a plus. The role is hybrid with day shifts and does not require travel. The candidate will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our applications ensuring they meet business requirements and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and maintenance of applications using Container Management with Kubernetes MQ and Camunda.
- Oversee the design and implementation of scalable and reliable software solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Ensure that all developed applications meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain competitive.
- Develop and maintain documentation for all developed applications and systems.
- Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
- Ensure that all applications comply with security and compliance requirements.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project status and deliverables.
Qualifications
- Must have strong experience in Container Management with Kubernetes.
- Must have experience with MQ and Camunda.
- Nice to have experience in Asset and Wealth Management.
- Must have excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Must have strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Must have experience with agile development methodologies.
- Nice to have experience in mentoring and guiding junior developers.
Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $130000 - $150000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
