Job Title - Network Engineer
Location : Winson Salem , NC - Hybrid
seeking a Network Engineer who shall be responsible for implementing and maintaining network infrastructure.
Job Description
Network Design and Implementation: Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
Maintenance and Upgrades: Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations
Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor network performance, ensure system availability and reliability, and provide Level 2/3 support to resolve issues. Perform day to day operations, resolving SRs, CRs, Incidents.
Security: Implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team to protect data and communications
Cabling & Wiring: Implementation of Structured cabling, Fiber cables/connectors within campus and across location.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, designs, and changes1.
Collaboration: Work with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution and to ensure the network meets business objectives.
Disaster Recovery: Implement disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity
Skills And Qualifications
Proven hands-on network engineering experience – DC, Campus Network including SDN/SDWAN and Cloud Networking
Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)
Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model, Network cabling – Structured cabling, Fiber cabling, Connectors etc.
Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytics tools, Cloud Network
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, CISSP) .
