Senior Performance Test Analyst
Onsite Location: Morris Plains -New Jersey (Hybrid)
Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent related work experience.
5 - 8 years of experience in Performance Testing/Performance Engineering strategy
Experience in 'Gathering and Analyzing performance engineering/test requirements' and identify the critical business processes
Experience in workload data analysis and design workload model
Experience and hands-on on scripting using JMeter tool.
Experience in creating Performance test scripts and validation.
Experience in executing Scenarios and Report creation.
Knowledge about different types of performance testing scenarios like Load, Stress, Endurance and Failover.
Should be able to Analyze and Prepare test Reports after the executions.
Should have knowledge on Application Monitoring and Dynatrace/AppDynamics/New Relic Tool.
Good understanding of SCRUM/Agile methodology
Should collaborate with Onshore and Offshore team to learn new technologies and process changes getting implemented in the project.
Roles and Responsibilities
Working with project customers & Business analysts to ensure effective planning and requirements definition during initial phase of performance testing
Perform thorough analysis of non-functional requirements gathered and create performance engineering strategy and benchmarking plan based on current and future workloads.
Should be an individual contributor, own responsibility and able to handle project E2E.
Should be good in JMeter and able to handle Initiatives, Proposals, implementing new/existing solutions.
Load Testing experience in Cloud environment preferably in AWS
Experience in performing Load test in Production environment is preferrable.
Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until 03/28/2025.
The annual salary for this position is between [$64,734 – $102,500] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
