Job Locations: Charlotte, NC
Key Responsibilities:
• Mentor a team of 4 developers, providing technical guidance and support.
• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java, J2EE, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Architect and implement solutions on AWS, utilizing services such as Lambda, Containers, API Gateways, and Terraform.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.
• Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of applications.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure best practices are followed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Senior Technology Lead or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Extensive experience with AWS services, including Lambda, Containers, API Gateways, and Terraform.
• Solid understanding of cloud computing and AWS cloud architecture.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Salary:
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
