Come Join Our Team The Eligibility Support Services program here at Cognosante supports the Center for Medicaid Medicare Services (CMS) by performing intake, routing, verification, and resolution of Data Matching Issues resulting from submitted consumer applications and supporting documents. The work we perform is essential in ensuring that consumers receive their health coverage and applicable tax credits. What is the position? As a remote General Clerk III, you play a significant role by ensuring consumer applications for health coverage are processed accurately and in a timely manner. As a team member on the Eligibility Support Services program, you will assist consumers with application processing of Data Matching Issues (DMI) on their applications. General Clerk III’s will also be trained to support and resolve other high priority casework task. You will utilize your professional consumer skills to place outbound calls to help gather additional information to assist them in completing their application process. Additionally, General Clerk III employees will make outbound calls to collect additional information from consumers and assist them in completing their application process. If you identify as being proactive, resourceful, detail-oriented, and professional, this may be the opportunity for you. The work hours are Monday - Friday 7:45a - 4:15p CST. What will I get to do? As a General Clerk III, you will work on a team that handles complex cases that may need advanced expertise, which are supported and guided through business procedures that will assist you in providing consumers with resolution and or escalation support. As such, you will use your analysis skills to research, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues. You will communicate with consumers using a cloud-based phone system to collect more information for their application resolution. What qualifications do I need? High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Protect the privacy and security of consumer personal information. Minimum 1 year customer service with the ability to type 20 wpm. Follow the guidance from knowledge base systems and SOPs to answer consumer questions and assist with system and application requirements. Deliver high-quality service and achieve customer satisfaction while maintaining productivity and efficiency. Resolve data matching issues quickly and accurately to ensure smooth and timely processing. Make outbound calls confidently and courteously to expedite the resolution of customer issues or concerns. Communicate professionally in writing and speaking with consumers, support groups, team members, and other personnel through various channels, such as outgoing calls, recorded messages, system entries, and contacts. Switch between multiple systems with ease. Work well independently and with a team and communicate effectively in oral and written forms. Solve problems with strong skills that are supported by guidance and standard operating procedures. Be flexible and willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed. Complete ongoing program training requirements as required.
