What is the position? Cognosante is looking for an experienced Operations Director to track overall business operational statuses, deliverable reporting and support, vendor management and financial reporting and tracking for a large federal contract. We are seeking a highly motivated professional who is a hands-on leader who can motivate, communicate, mitigate, and provide customer satisfaction with minimal guidance. What will I get to do? Key Responsibilities: Be a key member of the contract transition-in team for a large federal contract. Work with and be in constant communication with the Program Manager to ensure smooth business operations. Manager a large number of product vendor relationships. Support the creation and reporting of all contract deliverables. Which would include delivering the Contractor Product Project Management Plan (CPMP) that lays out the Contractor’s approach, timeline, tools to be used in execution and any dependencies across products and projects. Manage and assist with delivering all reporting requirements. Work with the Program Manager to support contract financial management reporting, both internal to Cognosante and to the customer. Assist with delivering the transition and contract kickoff meeting(s). Ensure all staff training requirements are met. Managing onboarding for all contractor staff. What qualifications do I need? Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields. Minimum Experience 10 years An additional 5 years of relevant experience may be substituted for education (total of 15 years of relevant experience would be required). Expertise as a product and vendor manager. Able to pass a background check to obtain a Public Trust (High-Risk) Position. When determining a salary for this role, the following factors may be taken into consideration - contract-specific affordability, education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience. The estimate displayed represents the salary range for this position and is just one component of Cognosante’s total compensation package for employees.
