Summary
As the Manager of Procurement, you will lead and oversee the entire procurement process, ensuring seamless collaboration with subcontractors, equipment suppliers, and consultants. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders to address project needs, facilitate productive meetings, and build strong relationships with both current and potential service partners.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the procurement process, including Request for Proposals (RFPs) for equipment and subcontracting services.
- Lead or support the development and execution of procurement strategies for assigned projects.
- Manage the bid analysis process and provide recommendations for awarding contracts.
- Create and optimize pricing tools and databases to assist the estimating team in budget preparation for business development efforts.
- Implement and streamline processes for efficient management of the RF(x) process.
- Develop and track performance metrics for suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants.
- Manage and support a team of buyers in their day-to-day activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8 years of experience in procurement or sourcing.
- Experience in procurement within sectors like construction, energy, oil & gas or high tech.
- Familiarity with construction or project environments and project management experience.
