SUPERVISOR

We are seeking a highly motivated Supervisor to join our team in Middletown, OH. As the Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely processing of batteries in accordance with company standards. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that all materials are processed accurately and efficiently. This role requires an important level of attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Full responsibility of internal and external customer service relating to our battery business
• Visit existing customers on a regular basis addressing quality issues, company expectations and credit exposure
• Expand existing customer supply base and develop new supplier relations for growth and expansion.
• Direct team members of daily duties, responsible for scheduling of team, and materials to conform with the requirements of the business needs
• Keep team members updated and informed of all company policies
• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather
• Assist in unloading and sorting various batteries and materials.
• Accurately identify and record weight of materials being processed
• Purchase used batteries in accordance with our current market conditions based upon pricing standards/models established by senior management
• Effectively manage team members
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks
• Ensure compliance with all Safety and Environmental policies and procedures. Adhere to all safety guidelines, procedures and maintain a safe work environment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, which include baling accumulated trash, keeping walkways free of debris, and performing environmental hazard inspections
• Strong work ethic, organizational skills, and excellent time management
• Honest and Trustworthy. This position will require you to work unsupervised some of the time and you will be expected to stay on task

Minimum Qualifications:

• A valid driver’s license is required
• Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations in order to purchase materials in compliance
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to perform physical labor such as standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting (50lbs)
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Come with a great attitude and ready to learn
