Description
We are searching for a dedicated IS Supervisor to join our team in Sidney, Ohio. In this role, you will be expected to supervise and maintain various components of the Information Systems, including hardware and software, and provide program support through data analysis and reports. You will also be responsible for staff training and supervising the IS Specialist.
Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the installation, upgrade, and upkeep of all Information Systems components, including servers, phone systems, laptops, printers, and other hardware.
Ensure the smooth functioning of onsite applications and offsite systems by troubleshooting and resolving problems promptly.
Collaborate with contractors and ODA on networking, hardware, and software issues.
Develop and update IT and HIPAA policies/procedures to meet ODA and agency guidelines.
Coordinate disaster plans for the agency and revise them as needed.
Support the IS Specialist in handling issues and tasks.
Test and coordinate the installation of new software versions and updates.
Apply HIPAA regulations to the agency's policies and operations.
Manage the development, implementation, and management of next-gen managed care portals and PIMS modernization.
Conduct yearly network assessments and audits for HIPAA compliance.
Create, maintain, and support custom programs in Apricot and Mon Ami cloud database systems.
Oversee user security and processes for database access.
Assist with agency database applications like Sage, Quick Books, and EZClaims.
Collect, maintain, and analyze department data and records from the IS ticket system.
Attend and actively participate in meetings, providing IS Dept. project updates and status reports.
Respond to data requests from funding sources in a timely manner.
Supervise the IS Specialist, coordinating responsibilities and fostering a collaborative team environment.
Provide training and support to staff on new programs and IS processes.
Maintain HIPAA certification and assist with any questions or issues.
Conduct annual security training and HIPAA refresh training.
Requirements
A minimum of 2 years of experience in an Information Systems Supervisory role or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Server is mandatory.
Experience in IT Audit is preferred.
Demonstrable skills in Application Deployments are required.
Must possess knowledge in Application Configuration and Integration.
Familiarity with Configuration Management is essential.
Must have a solid understanding of Desktop Hardware.
