Affordable Housing Compliance Specialist

Responsibilities Include:
- Reviewing and entering income limits, utility allowances, gross rent schedules, and rent schedules
- Providing ongoing compliance training for property managers
- Assisting in the completion of all annual and quarterly reporting
- Advising and assisting with any issues pertaining to files or paperwork needed for inspections
- Investigating and resolving certification errors, as needed
- Assisting with Department of Homeland Security (Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements) desk tickets
- Creating recertification spreadsheets for properties
- Completing and documenting the file review process
- Processing special claims
- Investigating all issues within the OneSite system and contacting RealPage, if necessary, to complete any corrections
Qualifications
- High School or GED
- Proven experience with Property Management software such as TRACS and OneSite
- Proven experience with Microsoft Office, EIV, HUD Secure Systems, and RealPage
- Valid driver's license
- Personal Smart Phone technology required
- Ability to travel 10%, as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with MOR Inspections with state agencies
- Multiple state experience/knowledge of affordable properties
- Familiar with multiple low-income/affordable program layering
Compensation* $24.00 - $28.50 / hour
- Final agreed-upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
