Mid Level Litigation Attorney

Cohen & Frey P.C. serves as national litigation counsel in matters involving major transportation companies. C&F represents multiple large freight railroads, motor carriers, and other national and international transportation companies in both plaintiff and defense capacities.

C&F prefers that attorneys work in-office, but allows attorneys to work from home a portion of the week upon request. Responsibilities:

• Develop claims and defenses based on facts presented
• Develop strategic direction for cases collaboratively
• Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, memoranda
• Advocate for clients' interests in negotiations and in court
• Conduct and prepare for depositions, handle discovery disputes
• Negotiate settlement

Skills:

• Commercial litigation experience, federal preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
