What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mid Level Litigation Attorney position at Cohen & Frey P.C.?
Cohen & Frey P.C. serves as national litigation counsel in matters involving major transportation companies. C&F represents multiple large freight railroads, motor carriers, and other national and international transportation companies in both plaintiff and defense capacities.

C&F prefers that attorneys work in-office, but allows attorneys to work from home a portion of the week upon request. Responsibilities:
- Develop claims and defenses based on facts presented
- Develop strategic direction for cases collaboratively
- Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, memoranda
- Advocate for clients' interests in negotiations and in court
- Conduct and prepare for depositions, handle discovery disputes
- Negotiate settlement
Skills:
- Commercial litigation experience, federal preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
