Intern - Marketing Event and Logistics

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Planning and coordinate promotional events, including support to local campaign, adapting the marketing content to the regional needs. 
• Define, prepare and maintain inventories, logistics processes, documentations and database for samples and products used for tradeshows and events. 
• Ability to collect and analyze data to help improve the organization's process across different countries and different BUs is required.

Education & Experience

• Some college 
• Experience in Logistics, Procurement or related field
• Knowledge of reporting and analytical tools
• Excellent teamwork

Skills

• Strong interpersonal, teaming, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp. 

Working Conditions

• This position is onsite 
• Regular use of a computer and other office equipment is necessary

Physical Requirements

• Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer or conducting meetings.
• Use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents.
• Occasional lifting of objects or materials up to 20 pounds for administrative tasks.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Mobility within the office environment to attend meetings or interact with colleagues.
