Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform transceiver level stress conditioning and measurements
- Set up server based accelerated aging tests. Collect and summarize data collected during stress testing
- Query data from production servers and generate summary table and plots. Write scripts to automate data collection and analysis
- Generate scripts/code for running traffic tests on 800G switches using SONIC or DIAG operating system.
- Analyze parametric and visual data to assess stability of the devices under test
- Define and execute accelerated life tests for semiconductor IC
- Write Python scripts to log current and voltage readings from Keithley 240X source meter and other test equipment.
- Graph life test data to determine acceleration factors for temperature and voltage
- Use life test data to predict population lifetimes
- Calculate random FIT estimates for IC
Education & Experience
- Undergraduate or Graduate Electrical, Materials, Mechanical Engineering or similar major
- Undergraduate semiconductor device physics course
- Understand and explain how PN junctions work including sources of leakage current
- Python scripting and data logging
- Excel data analysis, graphing, and curve fitting
Skills
- Semiconductor device reliability
- Wearout failure modes
- Arrhenious equation and acceleration factors
- Random failure modes
- FIT calculations
Working Conditions
- This position is onsite
- Regular use of a computer and other office equipment is necessary
- Interaction with team members is a regular part of the job
- May require occasional overtime and flexibility in work hours to accommodate the executive’s needs
Physical Requirements
- Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer or conducting meetings.
- Use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents.
- Occasional lifting of objects or materials up to 20 pounds for administrative tasks.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Mobility within the office environment to attend meetings or interact with colleagues.
