Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform experiments on preparing and fabricating the sputtered multi-layer thin film magneto dielectric layers
- Perform micro fabrication and characterize optical and magneto devices
- MS Degree in material sciences
- Electrical Engineering with hands-on laboratory skills in RF sputtering systems and micro fabrications
- Strong interpersonal, teaming, and problem-solving skills.
- Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp.
- This position is onsite
- Regular use of a computer and other office equipment is necessary
- Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer or conducting meetings.
- Use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents.
- Occasional lifting of objects or materials up to 20 pounds for administrative tasks.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Mobility within the office environment to attend meetings or interact with colleagues.
