We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Learning & Development Manager to join the team in our Learning and Development Tax practice. This role can sit in any of our CohnReznick Offices.
CohnReznick is a hybrid firm meaning most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to alternate time between both remote and office. Reporting directly to the National L&D Director, this position will focus on building an interactive, best-in-class Tax curriculum supporting the growth and professional development of our people. Immediate needs include designing tax technical learning pathways and establishing extended learning toolkits. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in the enhancement of existing programs and new curriculum design for the advancement of the firm's continuous learning approach for U.S. and global offices.

YOUR ROLE.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Project and Program Management: Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of the Tax learning pathways, with primary focus on technical learning. This includes needs analysis and design with SMEs, scheduling, program logistics, evaluation, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Adult Learning Design: Perform competency mapping and employ advanced principles to create engaging content and programs that cater to the diverse needs within the organization. Tailor instructional materials with a key lean towards engaging, activity-based programs incorporating a variety of delivery mediums, technology, guides, activity books, case studies, simulations, instructor manuals, etc.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Proactively consult and collaborate with Practice Leaders, People and Culture and other stakeholders to identify, analyze, and document learning needs. Identify high performing Partners and professionals who can contribute to training delivery as instructors; lead train-the-trainer sessions to prepare them.
- Global Learning: Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify specific learning and development requirements. Establish a scalable and sustainable training process, including a robust train-the-trainer program to empower local leaders to deliver sessions. Collaborate with global stakeholders to ensure alignment with firmwide goals while fostering a unified learning culture across offices.
- Communication: Leverage relationship development skills, negotiation, and influence to drive L&D initiatives forward. Facilitate or co-facilitate learning programs when appropriate . Partner with L&D Operations to advise on CPE policy application for Tax programs , and with Marketing for event management approach elevating the learning experience.
- Evaluation and ROI: Conduct program evaluations to monitor and evaluate learning programs to measure their effectiveness and implement improvements as needed.
- Innovation: Perform ongoing internal and external research and benchmarking to identify and implement best practices. Design and implement evaluation methodologies to measure the effectiveness of learning programs in terms of knowledge acquisition, behavioral change, and business impact.
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree required preferably in adult education, instructional design, or relevant field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years’ progressive learning and development experience, particularly supporting Tax curriculum within the professional services or financial industries.
- Proven expertise in instructional design, including needs assessment, program design and development, and evaluation. In-depth knowledge of learning strategic issues and challenges.
- Intermediate to advanced project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple and complex L&D projects.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and build, establish and maintain trust and credibility.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals at director and partner levels, fostering strong professional relationships.
- Ability and willingness to travel to multiple office and/or conference center locations across the United States
- Advanced competency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint) and with learning management systems (LMS).
- Master’s degree in HR, Organization Design, or Instructional Systems Development.
- ATD, HRCI, or SHRM designation.
- Familiarity with the Tax practice arena of a public accounting firm.
