We currently have an exciting career opportunity in our Information Technology team for a Change Control Specialist.
CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered remote which means it does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a CohnReznick office location. However, as a remote employee, you may be required to be present at a CohnReznick office with scheduled notice for client work, team meetings, or trainings.

Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To
Change Documentation & Tracking:
- Assist in documenting proposed changes to systems, applications, and infrastructure, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain and update change logs, status reports, and related documentation within the firm’s ITSM platform (e.g., ServiceNOW).
- Collaborate with senior team members to evaluate the potential impact and risk level of proposed changes.
- Help ensure that all changes align with relevant regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., SOX, GDPR).
- Communicate upcoming changes to relevant stakeholders, such as IT teams, business users, and leadership.
- Schedule and coordinate Change Control Board (CCB) meetings, taking detailed notes, and distributing follow-up actions.
- Identify areas for process optimization within the change control workflow and share ideas with the broader IT team.
- Collaborate with other IT functions (infrastructure, security, applications) to streamline change implementation and minimize disruptions.
- Assist in generating weekly and monthly reports on change activities, including metrics on success rates, incidents, and user feedback.
- Provide recommendations to improve change processes based on data-driven insights and user feedback.
The successful candidate will have:
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; or 1 year equivalent experience may be substituted for each year earned towards a Bachelor’s degree.
- Coursework or exposure to ITIL principles is a plus but not required (ITIL v3 or v4 Certification is desired).
- 2 to 4 years of experience (including internships) in IT support, project coordination, or related areas.
- Familiarity with or interest in IT service management (ITSM) frameworks and tools.
- Basic understanding of IT concepts, including networks, applications, and software lifecycle.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Exposure to ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNOW, Monday.com, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn.
- Proactive mindset, comfortable proposing new ideas or solutions to enhance the user experience.
