The Human Resources (HR) Generalist provides support for personnel focused programs that include employee onboarding, employee relations, compensation and incentives, benefits administration, safety and wellness, performance management, career pathing, training and development, reward and recognition, and employment law compliance. The HR Generalist will make an impact on the company through daily human resource activities, project execution, and implementation of HR initiatives and programs in a way that ensures departmental and organizational goals are accomplished. The HR Generalist is trustworthy and operates with a high degree of integrity and professionalism.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:
- Partner closely with Vice President, Administration to ensure the flawless execution of all core people operations processes throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Facilitate daily personnel related activities, evaluate processes for effectiveness, and implement improvements; this includes new hire onboarding, processing terminations, conducting exit interviews, and preparing reports related to employees, hires, terminations, compensation, and other HR-related information as requested.
- Administer payroll, expense reimbursements and any off-cycle payments.
- Assist in developing, updating, and communicating policies and related documents; counsel employees in policy and procedure interpretation and compliance.
- Produce written content for internal communications and external employer branding.
- Administer HR documentation in a timely, accurate manner. Review templates on a regular basis to ensure that they are legally compliant and up to date.
- Participate in benefit enrollment and administration; provide benefit education to employees; maintain benefit records and reports.
- Share ideas for continuous improvement and efficiencies. Assist in the implementation of consistent and streamlined policies and processes wherever possible.
- Encourage and enable employee self-service of internal systems.
- Assist with administration and maintenance of employee-related databases and human resource systems; participate in the implementation of new systems as they are identified.
- Other duties and ad hoc projects, as assigned.
