Family Law Attorney - Frisco Office

Job Summary:

Coker, Robb & Cannon, Family Lawyers, is seeking a Family Law Attorney to join our team in Collin County. The ideal candidate will have 1-7 years of family law experience. Familiarity with Collin, Dallas, and Denton County courts is preferred. This position offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team while providing compassionate and skilled representation to our clients.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in all aspects of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, modifications, and enforcements.
• Conduct contested hearings and mediations.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and orders.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts.
• Manage case files and meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with the legal team to develop strategies for complex family law matters.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Some courtroom experience, particularly in contested family law matters.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
• Strong interpersonal skills and empathy for clients.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Willingness to work in Collin, Dallas, and Denton counties as needed.
• Proficient with legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to adapt to firm’s policies and procedures.

Education and Experience:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Texas and in good standing with the Texas State Bar.
• 1 years of family law experience.
• Some courtroom experience.
• Experience in Collin and Dallas County family courts preferred; experience in Denton County a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to travel to courts in Collin, Dallas, and Denton counties as required.

Salary : $80 - $150
