Description : Job Summary
The West Coast Sales Manager, based in Los Angeles (or within a close proximity), is responsible for driving sales growth across existing and new customers in the region west of the Rocky Mountains. This role requires 60-80% travel, including visits to both current customers and potential clients.
Reports To : Senior National Sales Manager
Essential Functions
Sales Management
- Foster relationships with existing customers to expand business while identifying and generating new sales opportunities.
- Schedule and conduct monthly customer visits and Quarterly Business reviews.
- Achieve sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the department.
- Resolve any issues and problems faced by Customers while dealing with complaints and issues that arise.
- Create and maintain annual Ad plans.
- Responsible for customer training, new product launches, Gap analysis, and cost-benefit analysis of all promotions.
- Supply customers with necessary show kits and represent Coker Group at industry events.
- Provide phone support and assist with customer service responsibilities as required.
- Travel to customer locations to drive business growth in the West Coast region.
- Attend and actively participate in a minimum of 10 events per year to represent the organization, foster relationships, and gather industry insights.
General
Identify operational challenges and recommend solutions for continuous improvement.Prepare reports and analyze sales data, trends, and opportunities.Track and monitor West Coast sales performance, making proactive improvements to boost sales.Stay informed on competitor activities, product offerings, and pricing, and provide management with relevant insights and reports.Collaborate with the National Sales Manager to share insights on new market opportunities and applications.Establish sales objectives by projecting expected sales volume and forecasting and developing sales goals for each customer.Keep current with economic indicators, changing trends, supply and demand and competitors to maintain sales volume and product mix.Provides product, service, and technical training for customers as neededMaintain strong professional relationships with customers, ensuring open and effective communication.Other Duties :

Work Environment
The position will be based remote.There will be business travel associated with this position, which includes but is not limited to : intra-company travel; supplier visits; and vendor or trade show attendance.This job operates in both a professional office and warehouse / shop environment. The individual in this role will also perform some job duties outdoors, including visiting customers and driving a truck and trailer to events for setup and sales. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.The individual in this position will spend several hours sitting and using office equipment and computers, which can cause muscle strain.Schedule and Availability
The ability to work from 8 AM to 5 PM PST is required. Flexibility to work additional days or extended hours for car shows, when necessary, is also essential.Measurements of the role (Not limited to) :

Five years minimum call center / customer service experience with tire sales preferredHigh School Diploma or GED; College Degree a plusProficiency with Computers, Microsoft Office, Excel. Web Query and Epicor P21 a plus.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
