Job Summary
Colangelo & Taber, PA is a small public accounting firm with over 25 years of experience, operating out of offices in Andover, KS, and Eureka, KS. We are currently seeking a professional and organized individual to join our team in Andover, KS, as a Receptionist/Administrative Support employee. This full-time, in-office position plays a key role in ensuring smooth operations and providing excellent service to our clients.
Essential Job Functions

- Greet and assist clients in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer and direct incoming calls efficiently.
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars for staff as needed.
- Assist with client communications and document preparation, requiring strong written communication skills.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail.
- Maintain a clean and presentable front office environment.
- Assist with minor bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing clients and receiving payments.
- Order and manage office supplies.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to accountants and other staff as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned from time to time by accountants.
Job Requirements
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems, Google Workspace Suite, Microsoft Excel, and QuickBooks. Experience with TaxDome CRM is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively while adhering to deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills; must be able to interact respectfully with clients and colleagues.
- Discretion and ability to maintain strict confidentiality with client information.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.

Additional Considerations
This position is entirely in-office and full-time, with an immediate start date. During the busy season (January–April), client interaction will increase significantly, both in-person and over the phone.
