Mission
Carries out general, cost, or sub-ledger accounting activities for a defined scope.
Main Responsibilities
- Records and validates the accounting information of his/her scope: consolidates and analyzes the results. Assists in preparing federal, state/province, or local tax returns and related statements or records
- Carries out sub-ledger accounting: accounts receivable, accounts payable, asset accounting, cash flow entry, etc.
- Manages inventory postings: justifies the accounting accounts, ensures the archiving of documents, manages the integration of balancing postings in the ERP, accounts cash flow entries, etc.
- Assistance in the management of contract and customer files: monitors and controls invoicing, manages at-risk customers, etc.
- Ensures supplier management: manages the reconciliation of invoices and the payment of suppliers, informs in case of recourse to unreferenced suppliers, etc.
- Ensures compliance: Recommends financial actions that may lessen the organization’s tax liability while meeting organizational goals and maintaining compliance with laws and regulations
