Job Summary
O v er s e e s a n d d i r e c ts a l l a s p e c ts of estimating for many different manufacturing business units to include but not limited to : Hot Mix, Crushed / Washed / Screened Aggregates Ready Mix and Pre-Cast Concrete. P r e p ares pro j e c t s ta t us r ep orts, schedules, margins a n d wor k s to e n s ure p roducts a d h e r e t o co n tra c t s pe c i f i c at i o n s . Must have knowledge in Alaska DOT&PF, USACE, private utilities and alternative delivery construction projects, along with knowledge in Hot Mix, Ready Mix, Aggregate and Pre-Cast material specifications.
Main Responsibilities & Duties
- Analyze drawings to identify precast concrete components and their dimensions and quantities.
- Quantify materials, labor, and equipment required for precast concrete fabrication and production.
- Prepare and present detailed cost estimates to internal stakeholders and clients.
- M o n i tor / c o n trol production t hro u gh a d m i n i s trat i v e d i r e c t i on of managers / engineers / foreman to e n s ure pro j e c t i s b u il t on sc h e d u l e a nd w i t h i n b u d g e t.
