The School of Nursing and Health Sciences (SNHS) at Colby-Sawyer College (CSC) seeks multiple highly motivated, full-time faculty members to join the growing school beginning in Fall 2025. We are looking for innovative, energetic nursing educators to teach in the classroom and support our clinical/research needs at the BSN, MSN and DNP levels.

In Fall 2024, CSC opened the Janet Udall Schaefer Center for Health Sciences, a new facility that expands and accelerates preparation of new healthcare workers and provides ladders for advancement for current ones. With new programs offered in-person and online, and a state-of-the-art facility for clinical training and simulation labs, more individuals of all ages will be equipped to contribute meaningfully to healthcare.
The SNHS consists of diverse undergraduate and graduate academic programs, outstanding faculty and a strong community partnership with Dartmouth Health. SNHS serves over 250 students, majoring in such undergraduate programs as the Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN), Exercise Science and Health Science. The school offers online degree completion programs in Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science (RN-BS) and Registered Respiratory Therapist to Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy (RRT-BSRT). The CCNE-accredited Master of Science in Nursing program has over 50 students in three tracks: Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL), Nursing Education and Nursing Management and Executive Leadership. The school has expanded to offer a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), a Master of Science in Exercise Science (MSES) and an Associate Science in Health Science (ASHS) degree.
All faculty positions include teaching, advising, scholarship and service responsibilities. All full-time faculty contribute to the college's liberal education program.

Undergraduate BSN/ABSN programs (two positions available)
The school seeks two highly motivated full-time Assistant Professors for Nursing to begin Fall 2025. We are looking for innovative, energetic nursing educators to teach in and provide leadership in our undergraduate nursing programs (BSN, ABSN) in both classroom and clinical settings.
Preference will be given to candidates with professional work experience in a nursing environment related to the teaching areas needed.
Qualification Requirements
The school seeks a highly motivated full-time Assistant Professor for Nursing to begin Fall 2025. We are looking for innovative, energetic nursing educators to teach in and support our online MSN program.
Preference will be given to candidates qualified to teach/advise in our online MSN program and help lead clinical and program coordination. Opportunities to teach in the online DNP may also be available to qualified applicants.
Qualification Requirements
The school seeks a highly motivated full-time Assistant Professor for Nursing/Simulation to begin Fall 2025. We are looking for innovative, energetic nursing educator to teach in the simulation center and skills lab in the newly constructed SNHS facility.
Preference will be given to candidates that are able to teach in both the classroom and clinical settings. Candidates should have a background in clinical healthcare, experience in high-fidelity healthcare simulation and current simulation technology, evidence of technological literacy experience and a commitment to interprofessional and undergraduate education.
