What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tool Room Attendant *No Weekends* Day and Night Shift available position at Cold Heading Co.?

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, layout, construct, alter and repair a wide variety of tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, machine parts and gages for machine operators and equipment.
- Responsible for skilled fitting, timing and adjusting tools and instruments to produce a functional part.
- Check and gage work using tool and die makers’ hand tools and other precision measuring instruments.
- Perform related hand and bench operations such as inspection, layout, fitting, polishing, lapping and scraping.
- Check condition of machines and other equipment and make any repairs if necessary.
- Work with machine operator on problem solving.
- Work with engineering and/or maintenance to resolve specific machine, tooling, setup problems that may arise.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); minimum of two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Must have the ability to perform all essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned to fulfill position or division objectives.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $33.00 per hour
