Position Summary
The Contract Support Specialist ensures the accuracy of contract data for customers and products across various computer systems. This role involves collaboration with multiple departments, including Purchasing, Customer Service, Credit, and Information Systems. The position also acts as a liaison with Multi-Unit Account Executives, customers, and vendors, while functioning as a team player and supporting the company’s overall goals.
Major Responsibilities
- Set up new vendors and items within the system; maintain item substitutions.
- Handle vendor maintenance, compliance, and billback management.
- Manage price contract maintenance, testing, and verification.
- Oversee customer product documentation and communicate product changes to the warehouse.
- Assist with customer purchasing reviews and surcharge management.
- Set up and maintain order guides.
- Provide support for promotions, menu changes, and managing slow-moving inventory.
- Track earned income.

Experience, Education, and Certifications
- Required Education: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
- Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Required Experience: 2-4 years in customer pricing, contracts, products, purchasing, and/or accounting.
- Preferred Experience: 4-6 years in procurement, accounting, product knowledge, foodservice industry, and supervisory experience.
