Operations Lead

Imperial Ice is looking to add an Operations Lead to the team. Imperial Ice is a fast-paced manufacturing,

production and distribution company servicing the greater central Arkansas areas. We are a family-owned and

operated small business. We are looking for an individual that is a great fit with the company culture.

The Operations Lead is responsible for oversight of the day-to-day plant operations. This position is

responsible for the management of Warehouse Operations, Manufacturing and Production Operations,

Distribution Processes, Health & Safety of Plant Operations. This role will foster a positive work environment

while maintaining a forward-thinking approach to managing Ice Production and Delivery Operations.

The Operations Lead will be required to:

 Utilize Route Management and Optimization

 Providing Operational Readiness in planning and preparing for each day.

 Provides ongoing training to develop employees and support career growth

 Schedule, plan and strategize for workforce need for both warehouse and delivery schedules

 Knowledge of manufacturing & distribution capabilities, process improvements, root cause analysis,

and computer skills.

 Project management or technical leadership experience.

 Results oriented with a high level of organization and time management skills.

 Ability to work in an unfatigued state

 Works cohesively with Warehouse Manager, Office Manager and Route Supervisor to address and

resolve issues before bringing them to Plant Owner.

 Able to work in a rapidly changing environment

 The job requires working nights and weekends. On-call availability is expected.

 Hire and fire employees, conduct employee reviews and provide coaching where needed.

 Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives on tight deadlines and delegate

 Ability to problem solve without guidance

 Ability to plan projects weekly and execute on decisions.

 On call for issues nights and weekends at times.

 Quick change environment experience preferred. Ability to work in a 24/7 environment.

 Knowledge of manufacturing & distribution capabilities, process improvements, root cause analysis,

and computer skills.

 Results-oriented with a high level of organization and time management skills

 Must have valid driver’s license & good driving record – will be required to use company vehicle

 Reports to President of Imperial Ice.

Conditions vary from normal office conditions to all areas inside and outside of a plant. Exposure to extreme

temperature fluctuations, electrical hazards, ammonia and heavy moving equipment. Can include standing for

long periods of time and heavy lifting.

Additional Requirements:

· Must be 21 years or older.

· Must have a clean driving record.

· Must pass a drug and background screening.

· Must be able to operate in a fast-paced environment.

· Must be able to stand several hours at a time

· Must be able to self-manage and complete a list of tasks without supervision.

· Route management software is a plus.

· Project Management Experience is a plus

· 3-10 Years experience in Warehouse, Operations, Distribution

Job Type: Full-time

Hourly: $22/hour

Schedule:

 12 hour shift

 On call

 Overtime

 Weekend availability
