CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
Nature of Work:
This is a fast moving dynamic environment where flexibility and adaptability are key attributes needed for success. As a customer service representative you’re customer focused, articulate and motivated with some customer service based experience and excellent written and verbal communication skills. You must be able to work will within a team environment and also demonstrate your own initiative when required. Employee of this class must be able to understand customer needs and enjoy connecting with them to work out the best solution. They must also be able to engage well with others and are passionate about providing an exemplary customer experience. Employee must be able to adapt and learn quickly in a changing environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Act as the first point of contact for a customer, a potential customer or visitor to the offices.
· Answer customer’s questions by phone or email.
· Start all new potential customer files for either estimates or repair orders via phone or initial contact in the office.
· Get required approval paperwork filled out and signed by responsible payer.
· Contacting insurance companies to get specific information regarding liabilities, payments made and payments owed.
· Setting up contact information in repair order including best contact name, phone number and time for appointment.
· Calling customers back after completed repairs to thank them and ensure complete satisfaction.
· Notating all conversations with customer and insurance companies in repair order.
· Receiving payment in system correctly. Documenting outstanding payment information prior to vehicle release.
· Finalizing paperwork with detailed payment information attached.
· Monitoring accounts receivable list and ensuring overdue payments stay under the 30 day mark.
Requirements of Work:
· Retail or customer service experience, or you just enjoy helping others.
· Detailed listening and phone skills.
· Ability to be a team player who thinks quickly on your feet.
