Cole, Scott & Kissane seeks a Construction Litigation Attorney.
Responsibilities :
Provide counseling and legal services to contractors, design professionals, developers, and individuals in disputes involving defect claims, torts, contractual issues, and other construction-related matters.
Take and defend depositions
Draft and argue dispositive motions
Attend site inspections, hearings, mediations, and trials
Perform legal research and provide analysis of case law
Prepare pleadings and correspondence
Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel
Qualifications :
Must be a licensed member of the Florida Bar
Must have a minimum of 1 year of civil litigation experience, preferably in construction litigation
Excellent communication and writing skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
