Cole, Scott & Kissane seeks an associate attorney to join our Medical Malpractice group. Our Medical Malpractice attorneys defend doctors, hospitals, nursing homes, and other health care providers and facilities.
Responsibilities :
Take and defend depositions
Draft and argue dispositive motions
Attend hearings, mediations, and trials
Perform legal research and provide analysis of case law
Prepare pleadings and correspondence
Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel
Provide exemplary legal counsel to clients
Qualifications :
Must be a licensed member of the Florida Bar
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Problem-solving skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Prior civil litigation experience required
