Responsibilities
- Assist in the defense of medical malpractice cases from inception to resolution
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
- Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
- Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies
- Provide risk management guidance to healthcare professionals
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active Florida Bar membership in good standing
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Litigation experience (preferred but not required)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
