Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation.
- Prepare and file sales tax returns in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Conduct account analysis to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Perform 10 key typing for data entry tasks.
- Process payroll and ensure timely payment to employees.
Requirements:
- Documenting and ensuring records are up-to-date
- Ensuring payments and deposits are accurate
- Assisting in other software tasks
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- High School Diploma: college degree preferred
- Valid State-Issued photo ID and Social Security card
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Previous bookkeeping experience of 1 year
- Ability to proficiently use QuickBooks
- Proficient computer skills
- Previous experience of Microsoft Office programs
- Task prioritizing
