Job duties included for the Billing Specialist:
- Provide support for the processing of Medicaid and Managed Care billings
- Ensure the accuracy, compliance, and water-falling of claims
- Represents the Company in related matters, and more
Minimum Qualifications needed to be a successful Billing Specialist:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years working experience in the billing and/or fiscal operations
- A strong understanding of Behavioral Health billing guidelines, Ohio Medicaid and Managed Care payors and their expectations
- Knowledge of eligibility requirements
- Knowledge of Behavioral Health billing guidelines, SmartCare EHR system and Microsoft Office is preferred
