What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobile Crisis Counselor (Youth) position at Coleman Health Services?
We are seeking a social work or counseling individual to provide crisis intervention and counseling services to youth and families in various community settings throughout Trumbull County, Ohio. Duties include:
- Providing crisis assessment, safety planning and follow up care
- Working with youth & families in crisis throughout the County as part of the Youth Mobile Response Team
- Working together with team of counselors/social workers, case managers, and family peer support specialist while maintaining positive relationships with community professionals
Qualified candidates will have LSW or LPC licensure, must have or be eligible for an NPI number and an Ohio Medicaid number, have and maintain an excellent driving record, and 2 years' experience working in the behavioral healthcare field. Prefer someone with LISW or LPCC licensure, work experience in community behavioral health or crisis intervention setting, and someone with experience in motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, and trauma informed care.
