We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Assistant Store Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to both retail and wholesale customers. You will play a key role in driving sales, maintaining store standards, and ensuring a positive customer experience. Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
- Work with wholesale customers, delivering and sourcing parts via phone and internet transactions.
- Utilize effective negotiation skills to promote sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product information to provide informed recommendations.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves, organizing displays and physical inventory counts.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain store appearance.
- Handle administrative tasks as required, including managing customer inquiries and processing returns.
- Supervise staff members, providing leadership and guidance to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a automotive parts store setting is preferred.
- Strong sales management skills with the ability to sell effectively and meet targets.
- Excellent communication skills; multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Proficiency in operating POS systems and handling cash transactions accurately.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with experience in supervising or training staff members.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including rotating Saturdays. (8am - 12pm)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in administrative tasks.
- Positive attitude and the ability to adapt to change is a must.
- Valid drivers license with a good driving record is a must.
