Customer Relations and Parts Advisor

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide an excellent customer service experience to customers both over the phone and over the counter.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
• Pick and stage parts for customer orders
• Pick up returns
• Check in and stock daily inventory orders
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards
• Secondary Responsibilities
• Assist in store inventory processes
• Store Cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot
• Drop off weekly / monthly sales flyer

Essential Job Skills - Experience

• Working knowledge of automotive systems, and diagnostic ability to include: internal engine, suspension, brakes, electronic, exhaust, etc.
• Ability to speak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers, peers and management
• Valid Drivers License with good driving record is a necessity
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals; ability to write simple correspondence
• Ability to understand and execute instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Ability to complete basic math accurately: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to use Microsoft software effectively (Word, Excel required)
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work an assortment of days and weekends as needed
• Friendly communication & positive attitude
• Ability to locate and stock parts
• Safety knowledge and skills
• Parts and automotive system knowledge skills
• Operating Point of Sale and Parts lookup systems
• Prior automotive parts experience
• Proven sales ability with past experience in fulfillment of customer transactions

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
