Colfax Nursing and Rehab is seeking a Director of Nursing for our Colfax, La. The position is responsible for the direction, coordination, and oversight of all nursing activities within the facility. The Director of Nursing will also be responsible for the development and implementation of quality care practices. This position will work closely with the other disciplines to provide a quality of care that is in the best interest of the resident.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for the oversight, direction and management of all nursing activities within the facility.
- Directs and supervises all nursing staff including but not limited to registered nurses, and certified nursing assistants.
- Develops and implements quality nursing practices.
- Ensures that all safety policies and procedures are followed.
