Position Overview

At Colibri Group, we believe that great talent is the key to success. Our Talent Acquisition team plays a vital role in building a strong workforce that drives our mission forward. We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team and help us attract and hire top talent while providing a seamless and engaging recruitment experience for both candidates and hiring managers.

As a key partner to hiring managers, you’ll play an active role in sourcing, screening, and coordinating the hiring process, while also contributing to process improvements and recruitment initiatives. If you have a passion for connecting with people, strong communication skills, and a knack for organization, we’d love to hear from you!

What you'll do
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop recruitment strategies.
  • Be a trusted partner to hiring managers, educating them on best practices, market insights, and data-driven hiring strategies.
  • Proactively source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, networking events, referrals, and direct outreach to ensure a strong talent pipeline.
  • Provide a seamless and engaging candidate experience, ensuring timely communication and a smooth hiring process.
  • Coordinate interviews, gather feedback, and manage hiring workflows to keep the process efficient and organized.
  • Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (Lever or similar) to track candidate progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Stay up to date on market trends, competitor hiring strategies, and best practices to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, hiring regulations, and company policies throughout the hiring process.
  • Contribute to project-based initiatives that help improve and optimize the talent acquisition function, driving efficiencies and enhancing overall recruitment strategies.

What you'll need to succeed
  • 1-2 years of recruiting experience, preferably in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills—you know how to connect with candidates, hiring managers, and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills—you can juggle multiple roles and keep processes running smoothly.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs with agility.
  • Strong collaboration skills—you thrive in a team environment and can effectively partner with hiring managers, HRBP team, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System such as Lever, Greenhouse, or a similar platform is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) with the ability to navigate and troubleshoot basic issues.

Interview Process
  • Hiring Manager Interview (45 minutes) – A conversation with the hiring manager to assess your skills, experience, and overall fit for the role.
  • Peer Interview (30 minutes) – A discussion with a team member to dive deeper into your recruiting skills, approach, and problem-solving abilities in real-world scenarios.
  • Final Panel Interview (45 minutes) – A conversation with the VP of Employee Engagement and an HR Business Partner, focused on evaluating your communication, collaboration, and strategic thinking within a team environment.

Show Us Your Skills

To help us get to know you better, in the application we’ve included a few questions about organization, communication, and relationship-building—all key skills for success in this role. If this would be your first recruiting position, that’s okay! We encourage you to share a relevant example from another job, internship, or experience that demonstrates your ability to stay organized, communicate effectively, or build strong relationships.

For example, if you’ve never managed multiple job requisitions, you could describe a time when you juggled multiple projects, coordinated schedules, or worked in a fast-paced environment where organization was critical. The goal is to understand how your skills translate to a recruiting role. We look forward to learning more about you!
