Job Description :
We are looking for someone who possesses a deep understanding of IT infrastructure and operations. They should have extensive experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining network servers, computer equipment, and peripherals. This is primarily a Windows / PC environment. Additionally, they should be adept at troubleshooting and resolving service outages, implementing security patches, and providing technical support for various software applications. The right candidate will have a strong foundation in operating systems as well as virtualization technologies like VMware and AWS.
DAY TO DAY :
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues at packing stations.
- Assist office employees with technical problems, including software installations and network connectivity.
- Write and maintain custom scripts in PHP and SQL to automate tasks and improve system efficiency.
- Configure and maintain Windows and Azure servers.
- Installation, support, and maintenance of network servers, computer equipment and connection of peripherals.
- Troubleshoot wired and wireless network issues.
- Configuring software, modifying software configuration, and performing basic configuration management
- Planning for and responding to service outages and other problems.
- Providing software application assistance for commonly used office automation applications
- Implementing client workstations software patches, security fixes and service releases.
- Identifying, analyzing, and documenting long range requirements.
