Seeking a Tier 2 Incident Manager to join their CAS Network Operations Center. This role is responsible for incident management and troubleshooting of network and system issues, supporting both Collins Aerospace CAS customers and internal business units. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in networking, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor network management systems and engage telecom providers to resolve issues.
- Document and update incident status in the incident management tool.
- Troubleshoot systems and network problems, escalating as needed.
- Apply knowledge to manage high-availability IP networks and data communication systems.
- Collaborate with senior team members on complex technical issues.
- Participate in network solution design and configuration.
- Provide guidance and support to customers for issue resolution.
Required Qualifications:
- Network Certification.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, network protocols, and ITIL/ITSM principles.
- Experience troubleshooting Cisco devices and working with HSRP/BGP routing protocols.
- AA/AS degree (or 2-year post-secondary training) with 1-2 years of relevant experience, or HS Diploma/GED with 2 years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CCNA Certification.
- Familiarity with Remedy, Netcool, ServiceNow, and Office 365.
