Day to Day:
- Inventory/office/admin tasks
- Tracking shipments and invoices
- Imputing shipping information
- MS Office
- Physical tasks (could be about 50% or possibly more depending on the number of shipments that day)
- Loading and unloading pallets is the main thing
- 50 lbs is the max you lift by yourself
- Mostly use pallet jacks and Dollys
Must-Have:
- Warehouse experience (loading and unloading)
- Able to confidently do the physical tasks
- MS Office
- Dock operations (knows how a shipping dock works)
- This could be as with shipping, receiving, or inventory planners as long as they were in the shipping docks
Plusses:
- Experience with pallet jacks
