Position details :

Title : Business Analyst

Client : Bank

Location : New York, NY

Duration : 06 months Contract

Pay Range : $50 - 55 / HR

Responsibilities :

  • Assist with setup and ongoing support for bank loan, warehouse, and repo facility reconciliation and position reporting
  • Monthly and quarterly ABS and CLO processing and related automation
  • Cash and loan transaction account reconciliation and related automation
  • Daily reconciliation report and position statement review and related automation
  • Assist with documentation of requirements, use cases, and related testing data
  • Follow detailed reconciliation and processing scripts
  • Properly bifurcate cash and transaction activity for each facility
  • Access, SQL, and / or ETL experience is a plus

    • Education :

  • BS degree in finance or a relevant quantitative field such as mathematics, physics, computer science, or engineering is highly desirable

    • Skills :

  • Some experience in the ABS / CLO / CMBS / RMBS industry is preferred
  • Proficiency in a programming language such as python or VBA is desirable but not required
  • Highly competent with Excel
  • Proficiency with Access, SQL, and / or ETL experience is a plus
  • Proficiency with Python
