Location: Iselin, NJ - hybrid 3 days a week
Job Summary:
Collabera is seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Java Developer to join our client. This role requires back-end development expertise, with a strong emphasis on delivering complex solutions independently. This resource is needed to build and enhance web applications supporting Capital Markets in a Core Java/SQL environment.
Must Haves:
- Strong experience with Java 8 or higher (Core java), Spring Framework, Multithreading, and Collection Framework
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Object-Oriented Programming
- Strong experience with SQL/stored procedures using MS SQL Server
- Experience with Autosys, CICD EPL tools like Jenkins, uDeploy, and/or Gradle
- Familiarity with caches like Coherence or Redis caching
- Experience with Rest API and Apache Tomcat
- Experience using Solace and MQ messaging
- Must have Capital Markets experience – fixed income, trading, equities, etc.
Day to Day:
- Build and enhance desktop applications
- Write code from scratch with Core Java
- Write SQL queries
- Utilize SQL for debugging
- Job scheduling with Autosys
- Devops
