About the Role
This Strategic Sourcing Specialist position supports the development and maintenance of a fact base related to assigned categories, including spend, market, and business needs analysis.
Responsibilities Include:
- Supporting Sourcing Strategies: Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing Manager and Sr Buyers to develop sourcing strategies, growth platforms, and procurement department goals and metrics.
- Market Analysis: Perform spend, contract, and market analyses for assigned categories, providing insights to inform business decisions.
- Bid Events: Conduct bid events, prepare bid analysis, and provide sourcing recommendations to stakeholders.
Driving Quality and Corporate Responsibility Programs:
- Material Monitoring: Implement material monitoring programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Supplier Audits: Conduct supplier audits to assess SQE compliance.
- PROGRESS and Food Defense: Support and track PROGRESS and Food Defense initiatives.
Transaction Management:
- Manage projects in PI to ensure timely completion and accuracy.
- Prepare Bid Waiver and Bid Record documents to obtain sourcing approvals.
- Resolve invoice kick-outs and maintain SAP workflow management.
Adherence to Company Policies:
- Ensure adherence to Kraft Foods North America's policies, including financial policies, procurement policies, confidentiality, and risk management policies.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, Business Admin, Logistics, or Engineering preferred.
- ERP Experience: Prior experience with SAP and ARIBA is required.
- Skills: Excellent analytical skills, presentation skills, problem-solving ability, strategic thinking, drive for results, and solid communication skills.
