Supplier Quality Engineer (Medical Device)
Description:
- We are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to support new product development and production line issue resolution within our R&D and Quality Operations teams. The ideal candidate will work directly with suppliers to qualify new materials, review specifications, drive control plans, and ensure compliance with validation processes.
- Qualify new hardware/materials by working with suppliers and validating specifications.
- Conduct process validation and incoming inspections for new materials.
- Lead CAPA investigations related to supplier issues and drive corrective actions.
- Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and vendors to ensure seamless product launches.
- Effectively communicate expectations and qualifications with suppliers.
- 1-3 years in medical device manufacturing (internships not counted).
- Strong background in process validation, CAPA, and supplier communications.
- Ability to read technical specifications and drive supplier qualifications.
- Bachelor’s in Engineering preferred; CQE certification is a plus.
- Experience in quality or regulatory manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage supplier relationships and ensure material compliance.
Pay range:
$35/hr. - $45/hr.
